Emilio A. D’Argenio

CPA, Managing Partner

Managing Partner of the firm since 1981. A graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh with a B.S. in accounting. In addition to the core areas of tax and financial statements, Emilio is responsible for the audit representation segment of the firm. A majority of his time involves business and personal consulting. He has taught and lectured throughout the years on accounting and issues confronting small business and individuals.

Emilio is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tax Division. He is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Stephen J. Lambert

CPA, Partner

Stephen partnered with the firm in 1987 and is a graduate of Clarkson University with a B.S. in accounting. His primary areas of practice include income taxes, financial statements and computer consulting. He takes an active role in the management of these areas. He is a Quickbooks professional advisor.

Stephen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Brandon D. Marshall

CPA

Brandon became associated with the firm in 2020 and is a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a B.S. in accounting. His primary areas of practice include income taxes, financial statements. In June of 2022, Brandon met all the requirements to be a licensed CPA.

Emily A. Lambert

Bookkeeper & Personal Income Tax Specialist

Emily joined our team in January 2005, bringing a wealth of expertise in personal income tax preparation and bookkeeping. With years of experience, she specializes in helping individuals navigate their tax filings with precision and care. Emily is also our go-to expert for payroll services, managing weekly payroll processing, payroll taxes, and offering invaluable support in the administration and practice management/billing of the firm.

Emily earned her Associate in Applied Science in Accounting from SUNY Jefferson in May 2025 and was honored with the 2024-2025 Outstanding Accounting A.A.S. Student Award. Currently, she is working toward her next milestone—passing the Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent examination to further expand her expertise in taxation.

Her dedication ensures our clients receive timely, accurate financial services with a personal touch.

William Dowling

Sr. Accountant

William became associated with the firm in 2014 and is a graduate of SUNY Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in accounting. His primary areas of practice include income taxes and financial statements.

William takes an active role in implementation and training of our accounting software.

Robin Schloop

Receptionist

Robin joined the firm in 2011. She has years of experience in customer relations. Her primary role is managing the public relations of the firm and interaction with all clients to ensure they receive the information they need and are directed to the appropriate person. She’s the organization behind the firm maintaining the control and flow of information coming in and out.

Office Assistant

Karen joined the firm in 2015. She has an Associate Degree in Accounting from Jefferson Community College. She provides Bookkeeping, Payroll and Sales Tax Services in addition to assisting with individual tax preparation.

Sheldon G. Kall

CPA and Attorney

Sheldon G. Kall, a founding partner of our firm in 1981, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the age of 93. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Sheldon was deeply dedicated to both his profession and his community. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Le Moyne College in 1957 and his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 1960. He married his beloved wife, Mateele, in 1965. Together, they raised three children and worked side by side for more than five decades, leaving a lasting legacy of service and generosity. Sheldon and Mateele were founding trustees of the Pomeranz, Shankman, Martin Charitable Foundation, which has supported Jewish agencies in Central New York for over 20 years. Their contributions to the community were honored with the Kovod Gadol award from the JCC and the inaugural President’s Award from Temple Society of Concord. Sheldon remained active in the firm until shortly before his passing, continuing to offer his legal and financial expertise in corporate law and elder care. He was known for his integrity, compassion, and commitment to helping others. He is survived by his three children, eight grandchildren, and many extended family members. A dedicated family man, avid runner, and proud Syracuse Orange fan, Sheldon will be deeply missed.

Jeffrey Armstrong

Jeffrey became associated with the firm in 2014 and is a graduate of SUNY Empire University with a B.S. in accounting. His primary areas of practice included income taxes, and financial statements.

Jeffrey was a dedicated member of the firm and strove for excellence in performance of his duties.
